STUDIO CLOSED UNTIL APRIL 8TH
As of midnight today we have been instructed to "Shelter in Place", so it looks like we'll be closed till at least April 8th. This makes me so sad as I will miss my Pilates Monterey community. I hope you all are staying safe and healthy. In the interim, as I'm sure you can imagine all local small businesses are hurting right now. We want to encourage you to support if and when you can by buying gift cards to your favorite restaurants, retailers and the like; buy now - use later.
On that note, we are offering a "Quarantine" special. All of our packages are 20% off from now until April 8th. If you're a client with an active package, don't fret, you can still purchase a package at the discounted rate and have it in place to use after you finish your current package. Don't need a package right now? Give the gift of pilates - we're offering a "New Client" special - 3 privates for $180 or forward the offer to someone you think might be benefit from pilates.
If interested, please contact your instructor directly or if you're a new client or want to purchase the new client special, reply to this email. We can send you an invoice to pay online, venmo, paypal etc. All other terms and conditions apply, i.e. packages expire 3 mos after first date of use and there are no returns.
Lastly, I'm sending everyone a lot of love during these trying times. The idea of isolation is scary but I do find comfort in knowing we're all in this together and thanks to the internet and social media, staying connected is so much easier. We WILL get through this and we'll be stronger together on the other side. I want to leave you with this poem that has been circulating around instagram lately that has brought me strength and hope in the last few days and perhaps, a silver lining to this crisis we find ourselves in.
"And the people stayed home. And read books, and listened, and rested, and exercised, and made art, and played games, and learned new ways of being, and were still. And listened more deeply. Some meditated, some prayed, some danced. Some met their shadows. And the people began to think differently.
And the people healed. And, in the absence of people living in ignorant, dangerous, mindless, and heartless ways, the earth began to heal.
And when the danger passed, and the people joined together again, they grieved their losses, and made new choices, and dreamed new images, and created new ways to live and heal the earth fully, as they had been healed."
